Who are you?
I am Troy Suamalie Aguila, the son of a Samoan/European mother and a Filipino father—an older brother, half-brother, husband, and father of a son and daughter. Born in San Francisco and I currently reside in Laguna Beach, CA. I’m the Founder of the Gwop Meet.
What’s golf to you?
Golf is good. It’s a place of enjoyment. Enjoying the game, the outdoors, the comradery, the good and bad shots. Beyond the game of golf, the community and friends I’ve made from Golf are priceless.
Target handicap?
I would love to take the time to work on my game enough to become a scratch player.
Favorite golf course?
The next one I play. No day is given so enjoy every round as if it’s your last.
Favorite item in your bag?
My vintage Ralph Lauren golf towel.
