Who are you?
My name is Hilary Lassoff, I’m a lover of the game. Played collegiate golf at Florida Tech, poker enthusiast, boxer, vintage car lover and founder of Bunker Club.
What’s golf to you?
Golf to me, is where community meets opportunity. It’s taken me all over and given me a seat at the table, one typically reserved for a specific class. It’s sparked my creativity and passions on and off the course. Golf is transforming, it’s beautifully evolving thanks to the diversity of those who play it.
Target handicap?
Hanging at a 3 right now, hoping to shave a few strokes throughout the year.
Favorite golf course?
Castiglion del Bosco in Florence. My goal is to play golf around the world—so much to see, sadly not enough SkyMiles.
Favorite item in your bag?
My Vegas/casino-themed Scotty Cameron headcover and my 60-degree wedge. I love the feeling of knocking it close from greenside.
Shoutouts?
This joyous beautiful community of LA golf, everyone who’s become a true friend, mentor, and inspiration. My LA golf community spawn from a poker stream, it led me to GGC, meeting Mark Cuevas and so it began. Big thank you to those questioning why we’re hitting from the back tees.
Shoutout to all the amazing humans in the Bunker Club family. Finding your people is hard, golf has gifted me incredible connections, and life lessons. To the underrepresented in golf – we’re all welcome. Golf is reinventing itself right now, I’m excited to be apart of it.
