Who are you?
I’m the co-founder and creative director of @hiatusgolf, a print magazine we launched this year. My background is in architecture and production design for feature films. For the past decade, my personal work has revolved around visual storytelling, direction, and editorial projects.
Where are you based?
I’m based on the North Shore of Montreal, Canada. We moved out of the city a few years ago and bought an old house near the river — which is actually part of why we got into golf more.
What’s golf to you?
Golf is a meeting point. It’s a reason to slow down, to spend time outside, to connect — with people, with places, with yourself. I love that it’s both solitary and social, structured but full of intuition. It leaves space for creativity, style, and personal rituals, which is what drew me in.
Target handicap?
I’m a casual golfer, loving everything about the game — from drinks after the round to the fashion side of it. I’m aiming for a 15 handicap this season. Some of my most fun rounds in 2025 were match play, and I have to admit the competitive energy really motivated me and gave me chills.
Favorite golf course?
Hands down, Golf Le Champêtre (@golf_le_champetre). I’m a member there, and the way they approach accessibility and openness to meaningful partnerships really matters to me. Plus, the course itself is stunning.
Favorite item in your bag?
My 8-iron, without hesitation. It definitely needs a new grip though. ASAP.
Shoutouts?
hiatus lives at the intersection of golf and print, so a huge shoutout to Nicola Hamilton (@nickydearest) at Issues Mag Shop (@issuesmagshop) in Toronto. She’s shaping the future of print culture and is the main point of sale for anyone around the world who wants to get their hands on a copy of hiatus. Another big shoutout to Ugo (@ugo.lachapelle) at Caserne (@caserne), who truly completes our vision and was excited to jump into a golf project with us from the start. That kind of openness and creative trust makes all the difference.
