Who are you?
My name is Andrew Dalton, I’m the manager of Malbon Carmel, Caddy at Pebble Beach by way of Hollister, California.
What’s golf to you?
Golf is escapism. Golf is a game that usually reflects the fluctuations in society around it. And we are always looking for ways to escape the angst of our personal lives. Anyone new to the game, some will leave the game behind, but for others that look back and remember the time they spent on the course with their friends and family. They will remind you of how this game helped them escape.
Target handicap?
I’m currently around a 12 and I’m working towards being a scratch. One day.
Favorite golf course?
Spyglass Hill, and the Preserve Golf club. My two favorite designers, Tom Fazio, and Robert Trent Jones Sr.
Favorite item in your bag?
My 1-Iron, why you ask? Because it’s awesome.

My brothers in golf, they make me want to be a better player and friend. My love for the game stems from the times I’ve spent with them on and off the course.
