Who are you?
My name is Amanda. I teach history at a middle school in Los Angeles and I write about golf. I’m also working on a podcast called Mother of Golf !
What’s golf to you?
Golf is my pastime, in the deepest sense of the word. It’s how I choose to spend my days and I do it with people who have chosen the same.
Target handicap?
I’m in the low single digit space so I’d just like to maintain. Not super into practicing.
Favorite golf course?
Meadow Club in Fairfax, CA for the low house/high wild turkey count.
Favorite item in your bag?
My roll-on body glitter.
Shoutouts?
My fam, the notoriously rowdy @penmarsocialclub, my best friends and college teammates, @viccasa and @michshnell, my students because they’ll probably creep on this, and above all, the guy who shared the game with me, my dad.
