Who are you?
My name is Jason Lindo, though most people just call me Lindo. I work as a nurse in orthopedics and plastic surgery, and outside of that I enjoy creating lifestyle, golf, and fashion content.
What’s golf to you?
Golf, for me, has become so much more than a sport. It’s a form of self-expression through fashion, an escape from the rush of the city, and a way to stay active and competitive—something that’s always been part of me as an athlete. It’s also about connection. I’ve reconnected with old friends who’ve taken up the game and built new friendships along the way. There’s something about the course that just brings people together.
Target handicap?
I’d love to get down to single digits. Until then, I’m focused on celebrating the good shots, laughing off the bad ones. Reminding myself golf is hard enough as it is.
Favorite golf course?
It’s tough to choose, but it’s between Winged Foot (West) and Whistling Straits. My go-to home course is Douglaston Golf Course. I’ve played more twilights there than I can count.
Favorite item in your bag?
Definitely my 2-iron. Fun to hit, and when the driver goes sideways, that club keeps me in play while still giving me distance.
Shoutouts?
Shoutout to my aunt and uncle who first introduced me to this incredible game as a kid. To my loved ones and close friends who’ve always had my back. The NYC golf community—we’re building something special for the culture here.
